Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Seguin Epoxy Floors & Concrete Polishing website and any work you hire us to do. By using this site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you schedule.
If something here doesn't fit your situation, call us before work starts and we'll talk it through. Anything we agree to differently will be written into your estimate or work agreement, and that written agreement controls for your job.
The work we do
We're a flooring contractor in Seguin, TX, and we coat, polish, stain, resurface and prepare concrete floors for homes and businesses in Seguin and the cities around it. You can see the full list of what we do from our home page, and you can read more about our crew on our About page.
What you read on this site is general information about our trade. It isn't a quote or a promise about your floor, because every slab is different. The scope, materials and finish for your job are the ones written in your estimate.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates, and there's no pressure to book. Your price depends mostly on the size of the area, the shape your concrete is in, any old coating or sealer we have to remove, cracks or low spots that need repair, moisture in the slab and the coating or finish you choose.
We price from what we can see and test at the estimate. Sometimes grinding uncovers problems no one could see beforehand, like hidden damage, old adhesive or moisture coming up through the slab. When that happens, we stop, show you what we found and explain the cost to fix it, and we won't do extra work until you approve it.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material prices may have changed, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you and tell you how long the area needs to stay off limits. Coatings and sealers depend on temperature and humidity, so we may move a date when the weather or the slab isn't right for a good bond. We'd rather reschedule than put down a floor that won't hold up.
On the day we start, please have the area cleared and give us access to power and water. Keep kids, pets and vehicles off the floor until the cure time we give you has passed, because walking or driving on it too early can mark or lift the finish.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (830) 340-0036 or reach us through our contact page as early as you can. If we've already bought materials that were ordered for your job and can't be returned, we may charge you for them.
Payment
Your estimate or work agreement spells out what you owe and when, including any deposit. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished and we've walked the floor with you.
Changes you ask for after work starts, and approved extra work like the repairs described above, are added to your total. If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until the account is current.
Our guarantee and its limits
Satisfaction is guaranteed on every job. If something we did isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right.
Our guarantee covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover damage from misuse, impacts, chemical spills left sitting, heavy equipment the floor wasn't built for, skipping the cure time or care steps we gave you, or problems that come from the concrete itself, like new cracks from the slab settling or moisture rising from the ground. Concrete is a natural material, so color, texture and small marks will vary from sample photos and from one part of a floor to another.
Apart from what's written here or in your agreement, we don't make other promises about how long a floor will last or how it will look, to the extent Texas law allows.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we take responsibility for our own work. Still, to the extent Texas law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for conditions that were already there and that we couldn't reasonably see, for delays caused by weather or things outside our control, or for indirect losses like lost use of a space. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that Texas law says can't be waived.
Working out a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first, because most problems get settled with a visit and an honest conversation. If we can't agree that way, we'll both try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any lawsuit about them will be brought in the state courts that serve Seguin, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. A change applies to jobs booked after it's posted. The terms you agreed to when you booked still apply to that job.
